Hearing Users

Are you a hearing person who wants to communicate with a Deaf or Hard-of-Hearing person? You too can use the LIFELINKS service to communicate with them.

You don't need to have a Videophone or Webcam. As long as the party you are calling has a Videophone or Webcam, our interpreters can call the Deaf/Hard-of-Hearing person and communicate with them using sign language.

To call our interpreters:

1. Dial 877 744 6111
2. Please notify the interpreter if you would like assistance in another language, for example Spanish or Russian
3. Give the interpreter the Videophone I.P. address of the party you are trying to reach
4. The interpreter will place the call and interpret between the two of you

Deaf/Hard-of-Hearing Users that want Hearing Users to Call Them:

1. Give the hearing user the number listed above
2. Give them your Videophone I.P. address
3. When they call LIFELINKS, they will follow the instructions listed above to reach you
