VRI provides interpreting services for in-person situations (meetings, doctor visits, therapy, court proceedings, etc.) using videophone, videoconferencing, or web-based video technology.
The hearing and deaf participants are in the same location, and the interpreter is located remotely.
VRI allows users to save money, maximize their choice of interpreter and type of technology used, and enables people to take control of their conversations. (Available in the United States, Canada and internationally.)

LifeLinks also offers a Video Relay Service (VRS) for video relay interpreting.
LifeLinks VRS is your easy and convenient way to call friends or family, make a doctor's appointment, call a utility, or even order a pizza!
Unlike VRI, the participants in the communication are not in the same location; communication is relayed via the interpreter.
Our friendly video interpreters will respond within seconds to assist you in placing your call. LifeLinks service is accessible from any location with Internet access, even wireless access, offering unsurpassed mobility to the Deaf/Hard-of-Hearing community.
