Blake Bishop
Director of Technology

Mr. Bishop has been in the technology industry for nearly fifteen years. His experience spans a wide breadth of technologies and skill sets, including technical project and small team management, agile methodologies, enterprise database design and development, Web applications, e-commerce solutions, service-oriented architectures and hardware infrastructure. He has managed teams and designed and implemented solutions for many industries, including telecommunications, call centers, healthcare, education, retail, hotel/resort management, marketing and other high technology verticals.

Mr. Bishop joined LifeLinks from NexTalk, where he served as Director of Engineering and oversaw the planning and scope of NexTalk's accessible communications solutions for deaf and hard-of-hearing individuals. Prior to that he served as a senior engineer and data architect for Sorenson Communications, where he designed and implemented scalable database solutions that run the company's many distributed call centers.

Prior to that, Mr. Bishop spent several years as a manager and engineering team lead for emWare Inc., a device networking company now owned by Panasonic. While employed in the advertising industry as a senior manager and software engineer, Mr. Bishop worked directly with high profile clients like Intel, and StorageTek, Iomega, Kaplan University, InFocus and ICON Fitness on technical projects ranging from Web applications to data mining and reporting.

Mr. Bishop holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration degree from the University of Arizona, where he studied Economics and Econometrics. He continued to pursue a second degree in Atmospheric Science before the technology industry beckoned.
